Subsidiary setup – FMCG distribution business in Cameroon and Rwanda(Project location – 2 countries)

Client overview:
Client is a successful FMCG distributor in Asia and Europe and had interests in expanding to African markets. Client needed guidance on which markets to start from and full-blown assistance with market entry and operations.

Services requested:
Market research, strategic advisory, business consulting services, business development services, operations assistance

Project Execution:
We offered to work on a retainer basis with the client as the project was heavily tasking and carried an enormous budget. As a company who puts our client interest first, the retainer basis was more sustainable for the client to not only to help manage the budget requirements on clients side but also to help us strategically work side by side and offer them the excellent partnership required for a successful setup of an operational subsidiary in Subsaharan Africa. This proposal was to also give our consultancy to navigate the complexities of setting up in each market and in turn give the client the confidence and assurance in working with a grounded African partner who will work dawn to dusk to ensure their success.
This project lasted for about 18 months where we delivered research reports on which products to focus on, incorporated the business in the countries, employed staff , supervised operations, carried out distributor searches and aligned all administrative procedures on behalf of clients

Results
